A Small Detour

It is Wednesday and I should be posting another Top Ten and apologizing for missing Monday and Tuesday.  But I guess all of that really doesn’t matter right now as I found out this morning that my maternal grandmother passed away.  She was the mother of 10 and will be missed by many.  She was 88 years old (I think).  She promised to come back to the States when I get married.  Makes me wish I got married sooner.

So 2010 has been a very strange year for me… lots of changes, lots of new experiences, both happy and sad.  Both my grandmothers passing away this year, moving back to New York, finding a new job opportunity, my first trip back to Korea in 12 years, and so much more.

I’m glad I did go to Korea to see her in July.  I was hoping she could make it through, but I can see it was just time.  I appreciate all you’ve done for me and my brothers and will miss you immensely.
